Learn to Program Allen Bradley Controllogix / Compactlogix PLCs, Powerflex 525 Drives, and Panelview 800 HMIs.

This will get you started on your PLC programming career path.  Designed for both schools and individuals who wish to learn more than the basic trainers and instruction manuals can teach.

• Allen Bradley Compactlogix PLC PLC includes 16 discrete 24VDC inputs and 16 discrete 24VDC outputs. The Powerflex 525 has one 4-20mA and one 0-10VDC analog input which can be read by the Compactlogix over Ethernet to cover the analog exercises.  It uses the Studio 5000 Logix Designer software, formerly RsLogix 5000, which must be purchased separately through the Rockwell Software Portal and uses the Studio 5000 lessons.

• The Powerflex 525 AC drive is wired to the 3 phase fan and communicates with the PLC over Ethernet.

• Allen Bradley Panelview 800 HMI touch screen and uses these HMI lessons.

The trainer requires 120VAC and plugs into your typical wall outlet.

In addition to learning PLC programming and troubleshooting, these lessons will teach you how to wire and diagnose control systems.  This curriculum will help you gain valuable insight into how industrial control panels are wired and operate.  All circuits in these self paced lessons are 24VDC.

    • Push Button - Four push buttons.  A green, yellow, red, and blue momentary push button.  One normally open (NO) contact and one normally closed (NC) contact each.

  • Analog. 5K potentiometer and meter with 0-10VDC + 4-20mA .
