This IO Link trainer will teach you about basic and smart sensor technologies and how to get that data to your PLC.

IO-Link is an open protocol that integrates smart sensors, actuators, and other field devices using the basic M5, M8, and M12 sensor connectors that are common in industrial automation.

• This IOLink trainer consist of an IO Link Master with 4 ports, an IO Link photoelectric sensor, a standard Inductive proximity sensor, and a standard capacitive proximity sensor.

• It is compatible with Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and Modbus TCP and can be used with all of our PLC Trainers.

It can be used to learn the differences between photoelectric sensors, inductive proximity sensors, and capacitive proximity sensors . Standard discrete sensors can be connected to IO Link ports so you can learn the difference in the data that you will get from the IO Link photoelectric sensor compared to the standard inductive and capacitive prox switches.

You can use the this IO Link training kit as a stand alone option or it can bolt on to the linear actuator of the LMC Linear Motion Control trainer option for more advanced learning.
