  1. Remove the end anchor from the left side of the contactor, install the three new terminal blocks provided so that the exposed conductor of the terminal block faces the contactor, then reinstall the end anchor.
  2. Install the terminal block label 1-3 so that it reads 1-3 from left to right. Through the rest of these instructions this will be called TB1, TB2, and TB3.
  3. Loosen the two slotted screws that hold the green and red contacts to the start stop push button. Do NOT remove the wires from these contacts.
  4. Loosen the two phillips screws from the base of the start stop push button then grabbing the front of the start stop button with one hand and the back of the start stop button with the other hand, twist them counterclockwise to remove. Discard the start stop button, install the new HAND OFF AUTO label, and install the three position selector switch in its place.
  5. Reattached the green contact to the three position selector switch.
  6. Loosen the wires to the red contact and replace it with the new green contact, retighten the wires and reinstall it on to the new three position selector switch.
  7. Find the wire connected to the A2 coil of the contactor. It is the right of the two rear contacts on the top of the contactor. Trace it to the second load contact on top of the contactor. Removed it from the second load contact on top of the contactor and place it on TB1.
  8. Find the jumper wire that connects the A1 coil of the contactor, which is the left of the two rear contacts on the top of the contactor, to the top of the contactor auxiliary mounted to the face of the contactor. Remove this wire and discard it.  Leave the other wire connected to the top of the contactor auxiliary connected.
  9. Take the wire connected to the bottom of the contactor auxiliary mounted to the face of the contactor and move it to the A1 coil of the contactor which is the left of the two rear contacts on the top of the contactor.
  10. Find the wire is coming from the 3 position selector switch and is connected to the first load contact on the top of the contactor. Remove it from the first contact on the top of the contactor and move it to TB3.  Leave the other wired connected to the first load contact on the top of the contactor connected.
  11. Find the wire connected to the top of the auxiliary contact on the front of the contactor. Remove it from the top of the auxiliary contactor and move it to TB2.
