PLC Tools SIM-SOC Servo Simulator Open Collector User Manual

The Servo Axis Simulator was developed to assist integrators in application development for projects with analog servo drives and incremental encoder feedback.

The Simulator allows motion application debugging in the lab environment, virtually on the table, without actual running motaors and drives. This reduces installation time from weeks to hours.

The Simulator uses an advanced microcontroller that allows high-speed move simulation and fast response.

Open Collector NPN outputs allow output voltages up to 30V with up to 100mA current capacity.

Deadband Selection
This device is pre-configured for closed loop systems with command signal deadband disabled. For open loop systems, +/-60mV deadband can be enabledby installing a jumper over two-pin header located under the cover.

All signals are referenced to the Common terminal and 0V of the external power supply.

One LED ON Servo enabled and simulated axis moving in Positive or Negative direction
